Week-Long Internship at National Children's Medical Centre

We are proud and excited for 11 BST students who recently undertook a valuable week-long internship at the National Children's Medical Centre. Interns learnt about sterilisation, COVID-19 testing and CPR amongst other important procedures and were given the rare opportunity to observe cardiac and plastic surgery. This life changing experience will equip BST students with the knowledge and skills to pursue their dreams. Our students were not squeamish and even took the opportunity to practice their suturing skills (on a chicken, rather than a patient!).
