Only one week after celebrating exceptional A Level results, BVIS Hanoi is once again proud to share another milestone: the highest IGCSE results in our school’s history. This achievement marks a new chapter of academic excellence and reinforces BVIS Hanoi’s reputation as one of the leading international schools in Vietnam.
Outstanding Academic Performance
The 2025 IGCSE examinations have set a new benchmark for our students’ success:
• 45% of all entries achieved grades A*–A (256 exam papers)
• 68% of entries achieved A*–B (384 exam papers)
• 100% pass rate across all subjects
This record-breaking performance represents a significant improvement from 2024, when 35% of entries were awarded A*–A grades. It also exceeds our internal predictions, underlining the commitment, hard work, and determination of our Year 11 students, supported every step of the way by their dedicated teachers.
The IGCSE is a globally recognised qualification and an important milestone on the journey towards A Levels and entry to top universities worldwide. Strong IGCSE results give students both the confidence and the academic foundation to excel at the next stage of their education. At BVIS Hanoi, these achievements highlight how our approach – combining rigorous Cambridge International standards with a supportive environment – empowers students to aim high and reach their full potential.
