FAQs

• Who qualifies as a Referring Family?

  Any family who introduces a new family or your other child(ren) not yet attending BVIS to the school before they make an enquiry or submit an application. 
  

   

• What benefits do Referring Families receive?

  A 15% discount on the published annual tuition fee for their youngest child currently enrolled, applicable for up to three academic years for each successful new student referral. 

• Can a Referring Family receive tuition discounts for more than one child?

  Yes. If you successfully refer two new students (from the same or different families), your older child will also receive the 15% tuition discount. 

  From the third referral onward (from the same or different families), if you have a third child enrolled, that child will also receive the 15% tuition discount. 

• What benefits do Referred Families receive?

  Each newly enrolled student will receive a 15% tuition discount, applicable for up to three consecutive academic years. 

   
• Can a Referred Family refer another family?

  Yes. However, they will only retain the original benefit (15% tuition discount for their newly enrolled child) and will not receive any additional referral discounts. 

  
  
• What happens if a Referred Family withdraws early?

  If the Referred Family leaves the school before the end of the third academic year from the date of enrollment, the benefit granted to the Referring Family will be cancelled. 

   
• Can families that have previously contacted the school be referred?

  No. The referral must take place before the family contacts the school or submits an application. Retroactive referrals (dated on or before 01/12/2025) are not eligible.

• Can this discount be combined with other programmes?

  No. The referral discount cannot be combined with other programmes such as scholarships, sibling discounts, or corporate benefits.

• How do I refer a family?

  You may refer a family by completing the Referral Form available on the school’s website or through the provided link. 

   
• Is there a time limit for this programme?

  For Referred Students: They must complete the Admissions process within March 2025 and enroll before 31/08/2025 to receive the discount. 
  
  For Referring Families: The discount becomes effective once the referred student officially enrolls. For students joining in the 2025–2026 academic year, the discount will be prorated according to the actual period of study, based on the published annual tuition fees. The benefit will continue until the end of the third academic year, provided the referred student remains enrolled. 

• Can BVIS/Nord Anglia staff refer new families?

  Yes. However, only the Referred Family will receive the tuition discount. 

• Can former BVIS HCMC students receive the discount if they return?

  Yes. However, only the returning student will receive the discount. Other children in the family who are currently enrolled at BVIS will not receive referral benefits, as the returning student has previously contacted and attended the school.
