ACADEMIC RESULTS AND UNIVERSITY DESTINATIONS

Our 2025 BTEC students achieved remarkable success, with a 100% pass rate across all programmes. Level 1 Business students earned an impressive 67% Distinction and Merit grades, while Level 2 and Level 3 students achieved a 40% Merit rate. The Level 2 Award in IT also celebrated a 100% pass rate. These results reflect our students’ determination and the strength of Dover Court’s inclusive learning environment, where every learner is supported to achieve their personal best.

 

BTEC qualifications equip students with practical skills, industry-relevant knowledge, and the confidence to succeed in both academic and professional settings. Focused on hands-on learning, BTEC courses—such as Business and IT—are assessed through coursework, projects, and practical tasks rather than final exams. BTEC provides an alternative pathway for students who thrive in applied learning environments, preparing them for further study or the world of work.

This year’s results are outstanding, with 54% of grades awarded at levels 9–7 (equivalent to A*/A), reflecting a high level of academic achievement. Notably, 12% of candidates achieved a perfect 100% in grades 9–7, demonstrating their hard work and dedication. These outcomes are particularly impressive given Dover Court’s inclusive, non-selective approach to education.

 

10 students also received 12 Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards, with one award achieving the highest mark in the world and 11 achieving the highest mark in Singapore.

 

Dover Court’s three-year I/GCSE programme is central to this success, giving students extended time to build subject knowledge, develop confidence, and prepare thoroughly for exams. Each student follows a personalised learning journey, supported within a diverse and nurturing community. A thoughtfully curated range of GCSE and IGCSE subjects allows students to pursue their interests and aspirations while maintaining our commitment to inclusion and academic excellence.

Our students in Pathways 2 and 3 achieved a 100% pass rate across multiple ASDAN programmes. All Pathway 2 students successfully completed the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE) Level 2, a three-year course that challenges students through portfolio work and skills sheets. Pathway 3 students excelled in the Employability Entry 2 Full Certificate and the Personal and Social Development Entry 2 Full Certificate—two-year courses focused on practical skills and workplace readiness. These exceptional results reflect the dedication of our students and the support of our teachers.

The Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network (ASDAN) provides alternative qualifications that celebrate a wide range of skills and abilities. These programmes build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem, while helping students develop essential skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, research, and self-management.

This year, our students proudly achieved a 100% pass rate at Merit and Distinction levels, marking an outstanding accomplishment. An impressive 88% of the cohort earned Distinction, the highest grade, while the remaining candidates achieved Merit, reflecting work of an exceptionally high standard. These results highlight not only our students’ talent but also their dedication, perseverance, and passion for performance.

LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious drama schools, renowned for training exceptional artists and offering widely recognised Speech and Drama examinations. Through LAMDA, students develop skills that last a lifetime, including confident communication, creative thinking, teamwork, presentation, and the ability to adapt under pressure.

Building on their outstanding results, our graduates go on to succeed at top universities worldwide, including Imperial College London, UC Berkeley, National University of Singapore, and The University of Melbourne. Others pursue vocational pathways, or careers directly after graduation. Across all pathways, our students develop the skills, confidence, and resilience to thrive, making an impact in fields ranging from science and business to the arts, technology, and beyond.
