After five days of intense competition, our U15 DCIS Wolves FOBISIA (The Federation of British International Schools in Asia) team has returned from the FOBISIA Games, where they proudly represented Dover Court International School in the top division across South East Asia. The event brought together schools from the region for an unforgettable celebration of sport, teamwork, and team spirit.

Our athletes competed in athletics, swimming, football, and basketball, facing strong opposition throughout. The week started strongly with athletics, where our students delivered outstanding performances, securing 13 medals. Later that day, two more medals were won in the pool.

Football delivered some of the most thrilling moments of the Games. Our girls’ team fought fiercely throughout the tournament, finishing fourth after a series of spirited matches. A single goal in the penultimate game proved decisive, preventing them from earning a well-deserved spot on the podium.

Swimming and basketball featured some of the toughest competition we’ve seen in recent years. While several results were narrowly close, our athletes showed incredible resilience and teamwork, never losing sight of the values that define our school. Back on campus, we livestreamed the event at the Secondary Canteen - Red Dot Restaurant, giving students and staff the chance to cheer the team on from afar.

Despite a few injuries and plenty of tired legs, the team came together for the traditional gala dinner on the final evening – a chance to celebrate, relax, and make new friends from schools across the region.

We couldn’t be prouder of how our students supported each other and represented Dover Court throughout the week. Next stop: the U13 FOBISIA Games in March – we can’t wait!
