Dear Parents,
They are off! Our Enrichment trips are now in full swing, with students from across all Key Stages engaging in a range of exciting activities around the globe. I’m delighted to report that everyone has arrived at their chosen destinations safely and is brimming with enthusiasm. We can't wait to hear from our students throughout the week! Meanwhile, our Year 13 students continue to tackle their mock examinations and should be congratulated for their hard work and resilience throughout this important time. Our Year 11 students are also busy preparing for their mock exams after Christmas, while taking part in enriching experiences, including discussions on UNICEF's Sustainability goals, talks from Hong Kong University, and an exciting Race Across Hong Kong!
Last week, staff visited our new Hung Hom Sixth Form Campus, an exciting trip that highlighted our shared vision for the future. Additionally, Friday was a fantastic day of professional development for our staff, where accomplished educator, consultant, and pedagogical author Morgan Whitfield joined us at Kwun Tong to deliver training on Adaptive Teaching. It was truly inspiring and will have a lasting impact on the quality of education we deliver as a school.

As we approach the festive season, we are very much looking forward to hosting our annual Winter Concert on Tuesday, 2nd December. Please see below for more details!

Sports Update – Miss. Wiltshire
Match Reports
U14 Girls Basketball
After an impressive win over CIS, just the day before, dominating with a win of 38-12, the U14 girls had an electrifying basketball match against Harrow, the teams exhibited remarkable intensity and determination. The game began with a fiercely contested first quarter, marked by outstanding defensive efforts and a need for patient shooting. After a strategic timeout, the focus shifted to zonal defense, rebounding, and movement, setting the stage for a thrilling encounter.
As the first half progressed, Harrow began to pull ahead, capitalising on our girls' fatigue. However, the second half sparked a resurgence. Fueled by motivation, the team launched an impressive 9-point run, momentarily unsettling Harrow as they racked up fouls. This energised our girls, leading to multiple steals and blocks, which intensified the defensive pressure.
Entering the final quarter with a score of 23-16, our team swiftly responded to Harrow’s aggressive play. Two rapid steals resulted in four more points, sealing a triumphant victory at 32-16. The girls showcased resilience and grit, solidifying their spirit on the court.

U14 Boys Basketball
The U14 boys team faced SAISHK on Tuesday, keen to put on a strong performance. A formidable task awaited them with SAISHK having a clear physical advantage. Despite this, the team worked incredibly hard to execute the defensive and offensive strategies they have been working on in training. Catus, acting as the engine room of the team led by example in a battling display with many members of the team providing assists and getting points for the team. A final score of 23-55 was heavily influenced by the physical difference between the teams as much as anything else and doesn’t highlight the potential our very young team has.
The U14 boys fixture vs CAIS on Thursday was a high scoring game that kept the scorers and referees busy! Over 100 points were scored from the foul line, lay ups and shots from distance! A score line of 41-63 shows what an entertaining game it was. Plenty of positives to take away from the game and targets to work upon to help improve ready for the next game.

U16 Boys Basketball
In a challenging and hard-fought match, our U16 boys’ basketball team faced off against AISHK. From the outset, it was clear that our opponents came prepared to play a very physical game, putting pressure on our Knights at every turn.
Despite the relentless intensity from AISHK, the Knights demonstrated remarkable determination and resilience. They kept their heads up, refusing to back down, and showcased their fighting spirit throughout the game. Each player contributed to a strong team effort, displaying grit and tenacity as they battled against the odds.
As the match progressed, the score reflected the tough competition, with AISHK ultimately finishing on top at 54-40. While the loss stings, the determination and heart shown by our players were commendable.
The Knights can take pride in their performance, knowing they left everything on the court. As we move forward, this experience will help us grow and prepare for upcoming games.

U16 Boys Football
U16 boys football vs Stamford 5-1 win
After instructions to start fast again and kill the game from fast play on the wings the opposite happened with slower controlled possession play. A round of substitutions had the desired effect with Ronan feeding Lucas, whose deflected shot nutmegged the goalkeeper. On the stroke of half time Ronan was provider once more, cutting the ball back to Lucas whose deflected shot made it 2-0. The Knights continued to probe in the second half, and the Cason to Julian combination came into effect once more with Julian then cutting in to drive home. Then a blip and Ollie’s goal was breached for the first time this season for 3-1. Within 30 seconds the lead was extended once more, Lucas striking after a good setback from Tylar. The Knights were relentless but couldn’t quite get the 5th until the final action of the game, Lucas feeding Ronan who netted the goalkeeper his performance deserved. 2 games, 2 wins, +9 goal difference. On to the next one.
