Dear Parents,

As we begin this week, our thoughts remain with all those affected by the devastating Tai Po fire. The tragedy has touched many lives across Hong Kong, and we are deeply grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by our school community. Your donations will soon be delivered to those in need. Thank you for standing together in compassion during this difficult time.

Alongside this, we continue to nurture a sense of hope and joy for our children. Last week, we were delighted to host our very first Chinese Parent Lesson. These sessions are designed to help families practise everyday communication and gain a deeper understanding of their child’s learning journey. This partnership is invaluable in supporting children to thrive in their Chinese studies.

As the end of term approaches – now just over two weeks away – there is a sense of anticipation across our campus as we prepare for the celebrations ahead. Today after school, we will begin putting up our Christmas decorations, with the help of our parent volunteers. Thank you for making this season so special for our children.

Meanwhile, rehearsals are taking place for our Christmas performances. For many of our youngest learners, this will be their very first time performing on stage – a milestone that builds confidence, creativity, and a love for the performing arts. We warmly invite you to join us for these special events:

Tuesday 9th, 9:15am – Year 1 Show
Wednesday 10th, 9:15am – Reception Show
Thursday 11th, 9:15am – Nursery Show

Refreshments will be served before each performance, and we look forward to coming together.

Looking ahead, the final weeks of term will be filled with warmth and togetherness as we come together for our end of term celebration, Tuesday 16th December. Thank you to all parents who have volunteered to help make this event truly memorable for our children.

As we come together for these Christmas events, let us take a moment to reflect on the strength of our community. These events are not only about joy and performance but also about kindness and connection. In that same spirit, we continue to hold in our hearts those families affected by the recent fire.
